Arbitrum Airdrop

Arbitrum ($ARB) Airdrop Coming March 23rd. Do You Qualify?

Twitter is abuzz this morning as the Arbitrum Foundation has announced that their airdrop ($ARB) is coming on March 23rd for qualified users who have been interacting with their ecosystem. If you think you may qualify, you can check your wallet at Arbitrum Foundation's official website.

PSA: Let's get the security information out in front: there are A LOT of scam websites out there already who are copying the official site UI, so don't trust any link that doesn't come directly from Arbitrum. (Hell, don't even trust mine - you don't know me! X-D ) Here's the tweet from the official Arbitrum Foundation's Twitter account with the link:

What is Arbitrum? If you're not familiar with the project, their dev center sums it up quite nicely:

Arbitrum is an L2 scaling solution for Ethereum, offering a unique combination of benefits:

  • Trustless security: security rooted in Ethereum, with any one party able to ensure correct Layer 2 results
  • Compatibility with Ethereum: able to run unmodified EVM contracts and unmodified Ethereum transactions
  • Scalability: moving contracts’ computation and storage off of the main Ethereum chain, allowing much higher throughput
  • Minimum cost: designed and engineered to minimize the L1 gas footprint of the system, minimizing per-transaction cost.

If you're wondering about the qualifications for the airdrop, @OlympioCrypto from earnairdrop.io has compiled a great Twitter thread that lays out the requirements if you'd like to check that out before looking up your personal wallet's eligibility. (Expand the thread to see all seven tweets listing the eligibility requirements.)

Have you been tracking/interacting with the Arbitrum projects? If so, did you qualify for the upcoming airdrop? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences!
