LBRY is a peer to peer media sharing network much like YouTube that has been crossed with BitTorrent and the addition of its own integrated crypto crediting system. LBRY is currently giving out many of its credits for free as an airdrop.
How it works?
Much like you would with YouTube and other video media content applications, LBRY users are able to browse, upload, and publish content to its decentralized peer to peer network. LBRY also features an integrated crediting system which allows users to tip each other or request payments in order to view content. The crediting tokens used are LBC coins and can be stored, spent, and received using one of LBRY’s built in wallets. Credits can be purchased or rewarded by completing tasks such as subscribing to channels, publishing, viewing etc.… LBC coins can be traded and sold on many exchanges as well.
