It's official as I heard it straight from the horses mouth today, Project Blank will include a mobile app!

This is awesome news, and something myself and others I'm sure have thought about. But you never know until you either see it o a road map or hear it from the CEO's mouth, but Khal dropped this news live today at the end of a LeoFinance AMA with Crimsonclad on MSPWaves.com.

Now I don't know if ProjectBlank will launch as a mobile app or if this is something that will come sometimes after an initial web launch?

These announcements from LeoFinance always seem to lead to more questions than they answer, ever notice that?

We Expect a Mobile App

I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation and I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty sure I speak for most when I say that a "decentralized twitter" should come in the form of a mobile app.

Mobile traffic now dominates the internet and web developers have been designing for a mobile first user experiences for some time now.

There are 5.22 billion unique mobile phone users in the world today, according to the latest data from GSMA Intelligence.

8 billion people on the planet, 5 billion mobile phone users with 4 billion active on social media!

Our Mission

When project Blank drops the mission will be to let 4 Billion people know there's a censorship resistant twitter alternative available.

The average person does not have the "encrypt all comms" mentality that I have but at least amongst my friends and many colleagues we are very aware of the level of censorship that is taking place with centralized media and social media. One by one users will turn to decentralized, encrypted, censorship resistant technologies. But at the same time I don't think mass adoption of this tech will come until it's nearly too late.

Humans can be lame like that, perhaps it's a survival instinct of some sort, avoid change until it's needed.

But what I see happening is you and I each tell one person every day, and that one person tells another person, and at least we know our friends and family have been made aware of these options ahead of the curve.
