My recent visit to Menards and bogus poLIEcy based in deceit.
Went to Menards today to get more garden supplies. Walked in and a female employee told me I could not enter without a mask. I pulled out the exempt from mask form and showed her. She said I still could not enter. I asked her to call a manager and waited. The manager walks up shortly after and I showed him the form. He looks at it and says I still cannot enter.
I pointed my phone at him this time and you see what follows. He threatens to call the police on me if I enter the store as you can see in this video. He read the form I showed him and still would not allow me in due to Menards false poLIEcy. Even though they know this is an illegal unconstitutional order Menards chose to comply with it. They wilfully chose to create a poLIEcy that would justify complying with tyrannical, illegal, unconstitutional dangerous orders. Why are the orders dangerous? Because the masks are a True threat to ones health, particularly when you are wearing them for long periods. Not only are they a threat to the customer, they are an even greater threat to the employees. The evidence does not support the claim that masks can properly protect them from covid-19. Despite this fact Menards still chooses to FORCE customers and employees to wear them.
Why do I use the word force? Because as you can see in the video force was threatened upon me if I did not comply with an illegal, unconstitutional order based in deceit. I was essentially coerced out of the building. The employee who told me I could not enter without wearing a mask admitted she was only doing it because her job depended on it. That saddened me for a moment. She was also being coerced into complying with a deceitful order, her livelihood depended on it. All the people I have come across since COVID attempting to enforce bogus masks poLIEcies seemed ashamed. I could tell none of them wanted to do it but had to because their job was on the line. I have been polite and courteous to most of them so far.
In this video you will see he uses the same excuses being used over and over and over to justify wilful ignorance and Legal Harm, “It is for our safety.” The mantra of those pretending to care about the public as they harm the public. You cannot care about people while simultaneously wilfully harming them. If you cared about your customers and employees you would actually look at the evidence. You would then see the solution is causing much more harm than the alleged problem. What Menards, like most corporations care about is satisfying stock holders and self preservation. In my opinion they are primarily doing this to protect themselves from lawsuits and fees from potential government fines for non compliance. At the expense of the public and employees. Even Menards is being coerced into complying with illegal unconstitutional dangerous orders. It trickles down to everyone else.
To discriminate against someone with a medical exemption speaks volumes about how much they care about the public. You will know the tree by its fruit indeed as once said. I personally will not be shopping at Menards again. If they issue an apology to their customers and employees for the disrespect I will return, otherwise never again. To apologize would be to admit guilt so I do not see this happening but anything is possible at the moment. Menards as well as many other companies would be wise to do the right thing. This will not be forgotten, those who come clean will be forgiven and held high.
Those who know me know that I would never put anyone in harms way. If I felt this was a real threat I would willfully wear a mask. It is not as severe of a threat as first claimed. The evidence is in favor of the opposite so I choose not to comply. The more we comply with illegal unconstitutional harmful orders the more we will suffer. If we comply to this then what next?
