Almost everyone want to be rich or at least to be successful and wealthy and to enjoy financial freedom. Whilst there are many routes to financial freedom or to be rich, not every one is rich or will be rich. May be it is because nature has a way of governing the way things happens or it is not everyone's destiny or God's blessing to be. But everyone can be successful to some point.

 To be rich in my opinion comes with a skill of taking risks, and it is payment of such risks that makes one rich if one takes educated and calculated risks. Opening a new business, investing on stocks, forex and cryptocurrency trading or any investment adventure, all these is a risk. Of course, I cannot dispute the fact that some people are rich without taking risks, perhaps it was by inheritance or black magic if that works.

  I believe a man should not depend on one source of income. At least that what I have observed and learnt it is bad during the COVID-19 pandemic when people where retrenched from their highest paying jobs and later started suffering. Have multiple streams of income. In addition to your main income (monthly salary for most of us), have a side hustle or passive income to augment your income. Use your salary to make something that will give you another income or else you will have remain at work for the rest of your life just so you can pay the bills and have that life you want. As Warren Buffet has said it before, "If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die."

 So by definition, passive income is money you earn in a way that requires little or no daily effort to maintain. Like Buffett says it "money you make whilst asleep". There are so many passive income ideas one can endeavor into. Examples include blogging, affiliate marketing, dividend stocks investing, peer to peer loaning etc. For the next publications, I will be focusing on passive income in the cryptocurrency world and how your coins can make money for you whilst hodling them.

 I'm no promising anyone they will be rich from the passive income ideas I will deliberate on in the next publications but it's worth a trial and remember, Get rich or die trying!
