I started collecting Cryptocurrency about a month ago so I am quite new to it all. Reading up about it online I noticed a lot of people using faucets and collecting drops. Looking in to it a bit more and reading quite a few blogs about passive income I decided that I was going to see how much I could earn without spending anything.
Most of the blogs I have read say that while it is possible to earn a little you are not going to get rich from it. Challenge accepted!! So this is where I am at after a month of collecting crypto. To be honest I didn't expect to have much, but I have surprised myself.
Firstly a word about faucets. While they look promising to be honest most are not worth the time and effort. Especially the auto type. I left 10 of them running for nearly a week and all that I accumilated in my wallet was about 10 cents. I probably used more than that in electric so they were the first things I stopped using. Thats not to say that they are all worthless, there are some that you can accumilate quite a bit of money from. Here is my list of the best paying ones I have discovered so far.
EC Mining - Good range of coins and pays into your expresscrypto wallet as its running
Dutchycorp Final Autofaucet - Another one with a good range of coins, but has a minimum before you can withdraw
Faucetworld - Good range of coins but sometimes takes a while to fill the faucets. XRP took nearly 2 months to fill.
Autofaucet - Another good one with a great range of coins.
Fire Faucet - One of my favourites. Has a daily limit of $10 withdrawal and pays straight to your blockchain wallet for free
Faucet of Bob - Pays straight to your microwallet while its running.
Best Shopme - Plenty of alt coins on this one and easy to build up
In all I think I have tried out over 100 different faucets and I found these to be the easiest to accumulate enough to make it worth your while. Nearly all faucets you can click PTC ads to get credits to run the faucets which is great but also they have shortlinks. After starting out clicking shortlinks it can get very repetative and to be honest they take a while to build up. The best way is surveys. For example on the Autofaucet site it took me a whole day of clicking shortlinks to build up enough to run it for most of the day. Compare that to 15 minutes of doing surveys where I earned enough credits to run it for 76 hours non stop. Thats a big difference in the time and effort needed. So my tip is do the surveys and PTC to make it worth while. Also pick a few of the best coins rather than all of them, I know its nice to have a wide range of coins but it takes too long to build them up to anything worthwhile by claiming them all.
So has it been worthwhile claiming from these faucets? In total from these seven faucets I have made $109.35 in crypto in one month. I wasn't expecting to make that much after reading other peoples experiences of them. I think thats not too bad for my first month, which includes a lot of trial and error on my part trying the different faucets, I probably wasted about a week trying them out. I will probably add a few more as I find them.
Now I know that isn't enough to retire on but added to all the other things I have tried it adds up to quite a bit of money and all for free. In total in one month using all the different ways to earn crypto I have found so far, including playing games, airdrops and a few other things I have earned a total of $584.67, for free. Which considering I knew nothing about crypto a month ago I think is not that bad. That should rise quite a bit next month as I find and try out more sites.
I will go in to details of the other ways I have earned in my next posts, so keep watch for the next installment.
