The Pink Lake Hillier of Australia ( Where Water Defies Physics)

Swimming in the lake’s water is safe and fun but impossible to do for normal tourists as the lake can’t be visited, according to: The Pink Lake Hillier of Australia.

Discovered in 1802 by explorer Matthew Flinders, who tasted it (reportedly "very salty"). Color remains in a glass if you bottle it.

The island is only accessible by air or sea. You can only visit the island under special circumstances. There are helicopter services to the Island but they cannot land there, but at least you can experience it from above. From above, it looks like a strawberry milkshake beside the dark blue ocean.

Australia's first pirate African American black jack Anderson had a base there. He was killed by his crewmen and is thought that he's buried somewhere on the island.
