From Childhood Joy to Grown-Up Realizations: 'The Jungle Book' Revisited

Yesterday, I watched the Mogli movie; the name of the movie is *The Jungle Book - 2016* on YouTube. I watched it since 2016. At that time, I was just a kid, so I didn’t understand much about the movie, and it was just entertainment for me. I really enjoyed it as a kid—talking animals and a green, fresh jungle. But this time, as a grown-up, watching that movie again hit me with different feelings.

I can see how the animals love Mogli and care for him. They have sympathy and didn’t care about the jungle law to keep a human cub among them. Some animals are also like them—they are good, just afraid of humans. And I also know the fact that some people are good, but not all of them are good.

He was raised in the jungle, and he misunderstood the panther for leaving him there with humans for his own good. And he denied helping the animals when the brother wolf came to him asking for help. I think that’s human nature—being selfish sometimes. I almost cried when Mogli found out his disabled friend in the tent of the hunter.

I suggest you watch it, and I am sure your kids will also love it.
