During the Covid-19 pandemic, I was afraid to go to the hospital. For me, hospitals are the places where the massive spread of the corona virus has occurred. Not a few people have contracted the corona virus after visiting the hospital.

You see, we never know who has been exposed to the virus and have to stay away from him. We just need to be careful, such as keeping our distance, washing our hands or wearing a mask if we have to visit a place where the virus is believed to have spread.

Over the past few months, I have become a regular at the hospital. I did this because I had to take my child to the dentist. My son has a problem with his teeth. Three of his teeth were hollow and had to be glued. He also had to undergo routine maintenance. Once a week you have to go to the hospital to check your teeth.

There was a strange sight that I saw while in the hospital. Usually, the hospital is the busiest place. The road corridor is never devoid of human activity.

However, the conditions that I saw at the Kesdam Hospital in Banda Aceh, actually make us afraid. The atmosphere in the street corridor inside the hospital was very quiet, as if there was no significant activity. We rarely see nurses carrying patients or visitors passing through the hospital area.

Seeing the scene, I took out my smartphone and captured the atmosphere in the hospital, which looked deserted. Here are some of the images I recorded using the smartphone camera.
