One day a thought crossed my mind. Sasha, why don't you try making electronic music? You like it more and more. However, I had no idea about electronic music. 0%. I've always listened more to grunge and alternative rock. I like the sounds of bass. I play guitar and compose a more indie genre on my guitar. But I really started to get attracted to electronic music, and that's also because of the powerful bass.
First, I started creating lo-fi. And I made my first album. I got tired of lo-fi and started listening to deep house. However, that was still not it. Deep house is a little too soft for me. I also liked trap music. Then I discovered the tech house genre. That's what I said. This is for me! That's what I'm gonna do. But how? I have no knowledge, I have no idea. Whatever it is, it will be. It's always the first time. I started to create in the DAW music studio program. I've been creating something aimlessly.
I draw midi file lines, I composed drum beats, arpeggio, some effects, I found a sample vocal with the phrase Loving You; I told myself that I'll choose, I don't even know why... I did the mix, I did the mastering. Of course, since I have no experience nor good studio equipment, I said that's it. It's important that I learn, it's important, I said to myself. But I liked the song. But I realized that this was not it. It lacks audio quality.
I asked my friend if he would do the mixing and mastering for me because I know he is a master because he worked for big stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Bjork... I send him audio files, which, of course, have already been heavily processed by me. He asked me if I would let him do the song the way he imagined it. Of course, I told him he was free to go. And so he did a new arrangement and mastering, and he also greatly improved the quality of the audio recording. I was very pleased with his input and I am really grateful to him from the bottom of my heart. He is also, indeed, a very kind and pleasant person. It can be seen that he is a real professional.
Then I started sending this track to big and small labels. I got some rejections, which is already quite normal for me, since I have been doing music for 25 years. And then I was very grateful to the record company from the Netherlands, which gave me the opportunity and was ready to release this track. You must imagine how happy I was! And I am really very, very grateful to them with all my heart. They really are a great team!
Now I have also bought myself professional studio equipment for creating electronic music, and I hope that very soon I will start creating new tracks on this new studio equipment. Here is a link to Lovin' You track.
