The Meaning Of Jesus

Matt. 1:21

" *And she shall bring forth a son,and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall SAVE his people from their sins "*

The name-JESUS,is translated from the Greek word,'Iēsous'-pronounced-'ea-sus';which means,JEHOVAH IS SALVATION.

The name Jehovah,is the Jewish national name of God;and it means,THE SELF-EXISTENT AND ETERNAL ONE.

Therefore,the name -Jesus,means:

"the self existent and eternal one,is Salvation "

God is the only one,who has the attribute of being self existent.

To be self existent means-without beginning,and without end.

So,if you were to ask God:

"God,where did you originate from?"

God's answer to you,will be:

"I came from myself" or "I exist in myself"

God said to Moses:

"I AM,THAT I AM"-

In the Hebrew,its-"hayah kiy hayah"
Which means:

I exist,that exist.
Jesus is self existent,that's why He is God.
Its the name,that saves.
Call the name with faith-and be saved from trouble
