John 14:17"Even the Spirit of truth;whom the world cannot receive,because it seeth him not,neither knoweth him: but ye know him;for he dwelleth with you,and shall be in you."

Any one who wants to know God intimately,must have intimacy with the person of the Holy Spirit.Many know Him as a power,but do not know Him as a loving person.Others have hinged on fasting and prayer as the best way to the miraculous,but have fallen short of a dimension of power,that only those who know the intimacy of love with the Spirit can and will access.

Many relationships with the Spirit are motivated by: "what can i get from him",rather than the desire to know Him as a person.If you see the Holy Spirit as a power,you will want to use Him,but if you know Him as a loving person,you will want Him to use you.Knowledge of his person,will deepen your intimacy with Him.
