Understand clearly,NOT VAGUELY,God's purpose for your life,otherwise,you'll miss His plan and eventually the pursuit of his plan and purpose.
It may not be popular or make economic sense,like the children of Isreal-God was to be their 1st King,and at the appointed time-David, the 2nd king of Isreal.
But the people saw other nations with Kings and WANTED TO BE LIKE THEM- because,to them,that was what made 'sense'.
If you don't know and understand God's calling for your life,you'll be a copier of other men's ideas,with no ORIGINALITY of your own.Its people who don't know where they are going,that follow others blindly.
On that final day,when you stand before God,you'll give account of His purpose for your life,and not what you thought or felt was his purpose.Get the road map and run with precision .

Saul was not God's perfect will for ISREAL,but he let them have what they wanted,because they insisted.But God took Saul, because he was a Benjamite,the closest tribe to kingship-a captain.Kingship was reserved for Judah.The original plan of God,was to have Judah as the lineage of Kingship from which the Messiah was to come and came.
No wonder,you won't find Saul's name in the genealogy of Christ,listed in Mathew 1.David's name appeared as the first human king of Isreal,but actually,he was the 2nd and God -The 1st.,for Christ is the root and the offspring of David.Rev:22:16,Jh.8:58.
If you get the purpose right,the plans and pursuits will be right.
Saul was a captain (Gen.49:27).David was king (Gen.49:10)
Where do you belong.
Is your purpose about your self or about God and his kingdom.Real purpose is all about God not you.

Build according to God's pattern,and not your pattern.Imagine building off a building plan.
God gave Moses specific instructions,measurements etc. by which he was to build the terbanacle.Nothing more or nothing less would have been acceptable.
Many,know God has a purpose and plan for their lives,but think that God does not have accurate and detailed plans,like a building plan.They feel they can just do it their way.Moses couldn't,he understood the God he was dealing with-a God of unparalleled attention to specifics.
Others have never taken time to ask God what his purpose is for their lives,yet others got the purpose right,but later God's purpose became their personal possession.They saw it more as their business,company,or place of work,but never saw it as God's purpose for furthering the course of the kingdom of God on earth.Do it God's way.
