Faith In The Unchanging Word Pt.2

*Heb.6:18" That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie,we might have a strong* *consolation,who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:"*

Some might ask:
"why is it impossible for God to lie ".
Heb.6:18,gives us the answer:"by two IMMUTABLE things".
"IMMUTABLE ",is translated from -' _ametathetos_ ',which means,fixed,non transferrable,unchangeable.

By God's Word and Spirit,it has become impossible for God to lie to you.
That means,God's word to you,either by his word or the witness of the Spirit in your heart,cannot fail.

Hold on to the Word and leading of the Spirit steadfastly,because these are the two unchangeable things by which it is impossible for God to lie-that also means,its impossible for the Word or the Spirit to fail.

Impossible to lie,means impossible to fail.
This is why you must not give up on what God has told you,hold on to it because God cannot lie.
