Chinese police have arrested 27 main suspects in the organization of the cryptocurrency pyramid PlusToken. 82 key members of the group who were hiding in the country and abroad were also detained. This was announced by the managing partner of Primitive Ventures Dovi van.
According to law enforcement, plustoken victims were about 2 million people. The total damage from the pyramid's activities amounted to $5.8 billion, although previously it was about $3 billion.
"A pyramid-linked fraudulent Fund recently laundered at least $1 billion. Now there is a movement of funds in EOS and ETH, " Dovi van added.
