Back in the Game - International Relations news!

Lately, I have encountered several technical problems and I have not had the opportunity to post about topics of interest on Publish0x. However, politics is not standing still and a lot has happened in the last two weeks.
Donald Trump's popularity is steadily declining, but as I mentioned in my previous articles, we have to wait until , roughly, mid-October in order to get an idea of the candidate with the best chance of winning the US presidential election.

National polls, 15 September

In Europe, the recent days have witnessed attempts made by Turkey and Greece, as well as the European Union, to ease the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean. Both Ankara and Athens have threatened each other and moved strategically into the disputed area of the Mediterranean, the military presence being now quite consistent.
Although the EU member states are putting pressure on Turkey and Greece to resolve their differences, we see very clearly that the European Union is also strongly divided: some states support Greece, others Turkey, and others prefer to take a more diplomatic and neutral position.
An important step towards a solution could be the Turkish president's statement made yesterday, when he stated that he would be willing to meet with the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Going now to one of my favorite countries, Lebanon, the situation is not rosy at all. In the last month, although many government officials resigned or have been fired, including the country's prime minister, not much has changed in the country. They have failed to install a new functioning government, and health, economic and financial problems are deepening. People are suffering and, unfortunately, they will continue to suffer.

Now I am back and in the next few days I will try to cover as much as possible of what is happening in the world. Also, I did some research regarding the crypto-world and I can happily say that I am now capable of writing on this subject too.

Stay tuned for more!

With a BA and a MSc in International Relations and many articles published for a wide range of news broadcasters, such as BBC News, Al Jazeera, CNN, The Guardian, Politico.com etc., I could say that I am capable of making an unbiased political analysis regarding the most current international events. I really believe that objectivity is one of the most important characteristic for an expert in international relations in order to provide relevant analyses and to describe facts as they really are.
