Coins, coin and more coins, remember when it was just bitcoin. Now coins are being introduced daily. I find myself eager to know these new coins on a new and deeper financial intimacy. Otherwise a break up can occur and my faith could be damaged or passion could fall away which can create lost opportunities. The cryptocurrency market is feeling a lot like dating.
I remember in my youth how exciting it was to meet a new boy or to have a crush on someone ( crush, what a terrible word for a new love). The feeling was fresh as I found myself daydreaming of the potential hook-up. Graffiti of thoughts took the place of real class notes and the education books ie; math or science, were covered with colorful hearts. It kind of sounds like crypto doesn't it, a fresh and exciting coin pop up on the crypto currency landscape and your eyes dazzle with its financial potential. But just like dating if you don't know anything about the new love potential you can get screwed. Luna anyone?
Dating and investing have plenty in common and we can arrive at some conclusions about ourselves and our financial health if we pay attention. My approach to investing like a potential date.
OOOO! "Something exciting and new come aboard, we are expecting you." Those words made the theme song to the 80's sitcom "The Love boat" so damn catchy. But it is certainly not a way to choose new investment coins, at least not from my point of view. Because if that is your style you may find your ship sinking more and more each time.
Homework is something all of us are aware of, the many days our school teachers laded us with essays, chapter reads, and reviews had filled up my evening . It was annoying if you were someone like me who just wanted to forget about homework because I had a thing to do, live. But maybe our teachers were on to something if you saturated yourself into a subject, you eventually get to know the subject because the more you know about a subject, the better you will do on any upcoming test (theoretical).
Remember the dating advice you got from friends or relatives. Did it work, or did you find yourself making your own way?
With all the new coins entering the market how do you decide? Besides doing your home work what other ways can help to determine how to choose from a sea of cryptocurrency entering the market?. Well, I am asking you.
One night stands; you see, you like, you play then you leave. I found that one-night stands worked for some but not for me. I need to observe and then apply what was observed with a bit of courage.
Perhaps the relationships will be abundant in the form of a wealth of lessons. If dealing with cryptocurrency, a rise in personal wealth. One-night stands were good for a night of fun but, it was not a good way to find a lasting loyal new love. That method caused havoc on my mental health.
Looking forward...
- I have managed to have a long-lasting marriage by doing the homework not just on the potential partnership but on myself as well.
- Learning my attitude toward a potential investment was imperative.
- Take the time to learn about the individual
- Investing a little more each day whether; time, focus or patience etc.
- Not bailing when things got bumpy because they will.
- Learning to research and invest in those areas.
- Ask questions when I was not sure.
- Following what felt right for me.
However you approach investing in crypto currency become familiar with each potential partnership/coin. It may not always lead to a lasting fruitful relationship but you will minimize the threat of getting "Crushed"
