Good morning.

Well back in December after doing some sketchy research I put myself on a waiting list for a WeatherXm mining bundle, I was really keen on this, to me it had utillity and isn't that one of the things you look for in a project? They had tried to do a sale but the website crashed so they decided to send out invitation codes to order by email on the first in first out basis. We recieved our email in April and ordered 1 straight away.

At this time our Helium mining was still going reasonably well, but if we had managed to get our miners just that bit earlier ........... so this time we thought 'yep we are early on this one'. Then as things with Helium got a little 'shakey' shall we say I got a little nervous about this project, should we sell it? Should we keep it? In the end we have decided to keep it and we will install it on the roof (we do already have a 5mtr post to install it on!)

There have been the usual delays and some not great customer support in my opinion lol. The tracking numbers on the parcels were all wrong so when people tried to track their packages, all they got was 'no data available'. There were 1000 weather stations sent out in this batch as opposed to the promised 10,000. They have recently added a Helium compatible weather station to their product list so I am guessing they will use the Helium network for transfering data packets. I also hope WeatherXm does have some customers for the data we will be collecting.

There was only a very brief white/lite paper which is not that much better today! We do have an app for it which has been being beta tested for a while now. We have no idea when WeatherXm will go over to mainnet, we were allowed to submit questions for an AMA so i did ask that question and the response i got was 'we don't know yet'. I am hoping to see the AMA wich i believe is at the beginning of October.

We should earn tokens during this beta phase and when we go to mainnet we will receive an airdrop. So there you have it 1 deployed WeatherXm mining weather station. Now again we will have to wait and see how this one works out.
