Good morning/evening
If you have read my post on getting a solar set up with the help of AI, this is a quick update on how it is performing. I know technically that almost four months of data is not long and also it has been summer so these numbers will go down, but I was excited about it so thought I would share lol.

On the top graph, red is daytime kw's and black is night, the left shows it in BG leva and euro, the solar graph shows our total kwh used in purple, solar in yellow and paid for from the grid in blue.
Now that I have solar I do make sure all the heavy appliances are used during 11 and 3 when we are generating the most from our panels.
I have also now got most of the components required for the next solar build, only a few panels this time but these will not be static. The main panels were optimized for harvesting solar for the most consistent and longest amount of time, the new ones are more about getting more of the earlier and later sun, in the hope that I can grab an extra early hour and later hour of solar power. The idea is to have these new panels tracking the sun.
Again this is another of those self builds with AI writing the code that will be sent to the microcontroller (ESP board with zigbee, bluetooth and wifi). Zigbee will work even if there is no wifi and it can only connect to other zigbee devices, but this will make it compatible with our zigbee echo device. (Sort of like a walkie talkie) Some of the other components needed for this to work apart from the main framework are-:
A linear actuator that can move or power up to 3000 newtons and depending on the angle it is set at will determine the weight it can push, the actual actuator I have is specifically for solar panels and can move up to 300kg but the recommended kg for that is just over half which should be more than enough for 3x 30kg panels.
A gyroscope to work out what angle the solar panels are at and pass the information to the controller.
GPS sensor to give the microcontroller where we are in the world so it can work out where the sun actually is.
Wind sensor, so if there is a severe storm the panels will lay at the safest position to reduce the pressure on the panels.
Time sensor that checks the time once per day to make sure everything is right.
These are all more accurate than a light sensor as that would make the solar panels move more if there are clouds.
Now I actually have in my lounge.....Yes my lounge! An actual test structure, without the panels on just to test angles and that all the electronics are working correctly. There is still digging to be done again to be able to lay the cables and conduit as these panels will be in a different location to the others.

I did use AI to edit out all my background as I really did not think anyone needed to see that! Also yes I started writing this so long ago that the trench is dug, the conduit and cables are in and buried again and the structure is built, the electrics are ready, the box of tricks is ready in its waterproof case, and I am now waiting for the delivery of the solar panels.

So the new panels should be here in a few days and then with some hopefully sunny autumnal days I can see if the new solar additions make even more difference to the monthly electric bill.
As always thank you for reading and please feel free to comment, as a side note, my body aches from digging, lifting metal structures and cementing them in lol (yes the husband and teenager were doing it too)!
