An update on Bulb

Good morning/evening.

My previous post about Bulb  https://www.bulbapp.io/

Now I felt that Bulb needed an update as a lot has happened in what seems like a short amount of time. Now I know that at one point people that took a look at Bulb would see the 'scam airdrop posts' and I understand that put a lot of people off, me being one of them, so a new Discord channel opened called 'Bulbarians' with a lot of people working together to actively report all these posts. The moderators then asked that all airdrop posts (possibly even the odd legit one' be taken down in the interests of safety for all Bulb users. If you did not take these posts down then you lose energy, and you need energy to write, read and report.

There was also the 'Copy paste' crews, these took a bit longer to remove as some were high level users, that would need to be reported by at least 2 people and you would need to find the original article and link it to a report. A lot of people worked really hard to get rid of these spammers as some had multiple accounts, but again the hard work of the community has now cleaned up Bulb. By cleaning the site people also earned points for moderating/reporting but if you report someone they do have the right to appeal and you can also lose 'energy' for incorrect reporting.

Also to help get rid of spammers and multiple accounts Bulb set a paywall, not much but enough that it really helped get rid of some of the scammers/multiple acounts.

Stake

The staking of your Bulb tokens

BULB Staking empowers users to further boost their earnings and be entitled to a portion of the platform’s spending. The staking rewards have two components:

  1. Share of all platform spending
  2. BULB Points booster

This newly introduced staking protocol on BULB is aimed at incentivising users to hold onto their BULB Tokens and reinvest their earnings back into the BULB ecosystem, thereby strengthening the BULB crypto-economy.

I have personally been staking my Bulb tokens in combination with upgrading my emojis (NFTs that I can earn more points with).

Listing

The Bulb token is now listed available to trade on Jupiter and there is even a trade to earn challenge on Bulb. The token chart has not been the best, there was a lot of dumping from the farmers, but as there are more legitimate users now, it has a chance.

Threads

Bulb now has threads, which are short format posts (Like X/Twitter) which is great for those that do not want to post blogs or if you want, you do both. As with all things Bulb you can earn from threads by writing or reading them.

Conclusion

In my opinion Bulb is a really easy to use platform, the team are always working and making improvements. The community is great and some of us 'converse like friends' which is really enjoyable and friendly. You can earn points for reading, writing, commenting (as long as it is a comment and not 'nice bro') as well as moderating and buying Bulb tokens in the trade to earn challenge.

If you are already writing, just cross post, as long as you state that there are no issues and I see it as a win, win. To be fair, my only gripe is that some people are using AI to 'write' their articles, which in my opinion makes them dull, but then I don't follow those so I do not have to read them if I don't want to.

As always thank you for reading and please feel free to comment, I would love to hear if you have any thoughts on Bulb, good or bad. I know I have mentioned to a few Publish0x writers about cross posting, that is not me shilling a referral, it is more that I enjoy reading your work and would love to understand why you are not on Bulb.
