Startled awake

I almost broke my alarm clock this morning. It was blaring really loud and woke me up out of a dead sleep. I kept flicking the switch off and on and pushing the buttons really hard and it wouldn't shut off. I was about ready to smash it on the floor,when I realized that it was actually the alarm on my phone going off....I hate waking up confused like that.
