Laptop hums, the emails beep,
Freelance work, no time for sleep.
Dishes pile, then disappear,
Laundry spins—then reappears.
A quiet loop, a tidy feat,
Write, then rinse, then scrub, repeat.
No need to roam, no grand retreat,
Just chasing calm on a cluttered beat.
The world outside can wait its turn,
While Cool air swirls as AC hums.
In every chore, a gentle pace—
A life lived slow, in one small space.
