Stuck on What to Write? You Might Already Have the Answer…

The other day, a friend told me, “I want to write for the blog, but I can’t think of anything. It’s stressing me out; I feel like I need to come up with something brilliant. And I know I could earn some cryptocurrency by posting here… I’d love to earn even a little, plus the satisfaction of someone reading my words and connecting with them. But my mind is… blank.”

And I told her something simple: “But you’re already writing.”

Because every time you tell me how your child has learned something new—like how they now get up on their own in the morning for school, or do things they couldn’t do before, things you taught them… and now they do them by themselves—as well as your own evolution and progress in life… that’s content. That’s a story. That’s real human connection.

You don’t need grand themes or profound revelations. You just need to pause for a moment in your daily life, observe what moves you, what makes you laugh, what keeps you up at night, and put it into words. Your everyday moments are often exactly what others long to read… because they'll see themselves reflected in them.

Don't try to be like others, or do what others do. Write from your own perspective, from your own authenticity. Remember that each of us is unique, and even though we may have similar lives and needs, we are all unique, just as our experiences are unique. You never know when your experience might inspire or help support someone else.

So, if you're thinking today that you have nothing to say… take a deep breath. Make yourself a coffee, look out the window, and start with the first thought that comes to mind. Sometimes, the most powerful writing isn't the most elaborate, but the most authentic.

Do you also struggle to find topics for your blog? Do you have a foolproof creative method? Would you like me to share mine?
