  • A Reddit user accidentally spent $9,300 in transaction fees to send just $120.
  • They are now calling for miners to give the money back.
  • The transaction was scooped up by mining firm Ethermine in under 30 seconds.
  • Any typos during crypto transactions are final in nature, and miners would only hand their earnings back if they want to do so.
  • The mining firm has not yet responded to requests made by the user and are not obliged to.
  • The user is now trying to get some of the lost fees back.

In the cryptocurrency world, the user is responsible for all the actions it takes. During this nascent cryptocurrency stage, we all should be extremely cautious of all the inputs that we give in all kinds of cryptocurrency wallets.
