1BTC - The Five Categories of Crypto Earning

Over the weekend I was writing a future blog post and I thought about the different levels of attention and input required in earning crypto currency. I came up with five categories

Direct Investment

This is going to market and spending cash to buy crypto. You are accumulating it directly.

Platforms: Coinbase, Binance, Kucoin, Netcoins, Shake Pay, Coinsmart,

Active

This is trading and other financial transactions. Much like in legacy markets active implies decisons are made in accumulation process. Which token, which order type, which exchange, and when are all active decisions. In my opinion this is where people get into trouble. The majority of people investing should trade less., and with volatile asset classes it can be very easy to over lever, or end up on the wrong side of a trade.

Platforms: Coinbase, Binance, Kucoin

Micro Tasks

these types of platforms have become ubiquitous in the crypto space. I use them to fill my down time. Surverys, games, blogging, pay to click ads. There are many ways to skin the cat and hundreds of apps that will pay you in micro-transactions to complete a task. Other examples are seen with the learn and earn offers put in place where if you answer a quiz you receive a token or two.

Platforms: Publish0x, Cointiply, COIN app, CoinPayU, Coinbase, Binance, SWEAT Economy.

One Click Passive

This is almost set it and forget it. These are the app and platforms where you have to check in once per day to continue earning your reward. Shake Pay falls into this camp in two ways. With the shake sats program and with the BTC back purchase reward plan.

Passive

These are the methods where you do not need to think, cpmplete an action, or even check in on. Truely set it and forget it. Mining for crypto is the origional passive method, although front loaded, once set up it runs on its own. Other methods include staking and monthly purchase plans. set them up and check in on them once per year. SWEAT economy is my favorite for this. It churns away in the background while I go about my business.
