This is not a surprise to anyone reading this, but Publish0x is a good way to earn some crypto. You can earn as a reader and as a writer. The readers get the choice to tip the blogger at the bottom of their blog post. The reader also can choose which percentage of the tip they want to send to the blogger. The reader can send up to 100% of the tip or as low as 20%. This incentivizes both the readers and the content producers to continue to use the site. The tips are paid in Etherium ($ETH), Ampleforth ($AMPL) or Spot ($SPOT).
I do not like the tipping feature. Specifically the percentage allocation part. The reader and the writer should both be given half. If given the choice I think most people would take as much as the could. The tip button should send a 50-50 split to both parties.
Another feature I dislike is there is no incentives for comments. Because of this there isn't much conversation happening. If the site provided even a tiny amount per comment the activity on the site would spike.
Like every crypto project there is an referral system that gives you an override on your teams tips. So you can build a team of people under you and gain some traction there, but the total tip amount is so small I think this doesn't really work. The over ride is around 5% of every tip. 5% of $0.01 USD is so small it is hard to feel like it makes a difference.

I have one affiliate and every little bit helps, but unless you have an army of active users the affiliate program won't help me. It is also worth mentioning that the override is only on tips and not the posts made by your affiliates.
I have been blogging on Publish0x for a just over a month and I would say that the site is fairly active and it would be reasonable to expect $0.50 USD per week if you were to post semi consistently. I plan on continuing to share my journey here, so the will be a a mainstay in my journey to getting a 1 bitcoin. I doubt that I will ever make a meaningful amount, but the chronicling and sharing my journey is most of the fun. If you like to write about the crypto space you should be posting it here. You've done the work, may as well get some crypto from it.
Like all free crypto venues I was suspicious at first, but the UI is clean and it feels like the people running Publish0x care. There is a lot of content on the site so people are using it. I noticed that the traffic on my first post was huge, every post there after was not. This is suspicious traffic flow at best. Not to say that my content is necessarily traffic worthy or my writing deserved to be read, but artificially increasing traffic on the first post to encourage more posts seems like something a free crypto site would do.
My fears were alleviated when I made my first withdrawal and the crypto arrived in my KuCoin account. This legitimizes the entire process in my eyes.

Its not a lot but its mine. Publish0x is a legitimate website to earn some crypto. It is also a good website to learn more and find new tools and strategies.
If you are interested in the crypto space you should hang out on Publish0x.
If you like to write you should be posting your stuff here.
I highly recommend Publish0x and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Some mechanism to incentivize comments and a retooling the affiliate program would net them the fifth star.

You don't need it because you are reading this but my referral code for Publish0x is https://www.publish0x.com/?a=xkaz6G87aJ
