If you have read any of my reviews you would have noticed a 5 Star ranking system. I have primarily given out my stars in a very Dave Meltzer - gut feeling - unscientific kind of way. Recently, this started to bother me. I think going off of gut feeling alone is stupid and does a disservice to the project that I am undertaking.
In this post I will lay out my new 5 Star Ranking System, what each star represents, re-rank and list all the Earn programs that I have previously evaluated. I will not be editing the old posts to maintain the record as is, but I will be using the new system going forward. I will also put out a top 10 list periodically.
Apps, platforms, and websites will be ranked against 5 criteria. If you meet a criteria point you get a star. That's it.
- First Star: Does it work? If you can get money off the platform then it is at least worth one star. That is the bare minimum.
- Second Star: Does it have a low (or no) minimum to get the crypto off the platform? Until the currency come off the platform it is not yours. It needs to be in your wallet as soon as possible. High withdrawal limits are annoying and sketchy. "Low" is obviously a soft target, but it shouldn't take 6 months to build up to the minimum withdrawal.
- Third Star: Does it pay out in Bitcoin? That is the point of the project. To amass BTC. There are some great apps out there that pay in other currencies but that's not top priority. I want Bitcoin income sources.
- Fourth Star: Is it free? This is what we are looking for. Free is best. If its not free, it can't get the star. A freemium app gets half a star.
- Fifth Star: Is it fun? One of the most important stars for me is it should be enjoyable.

Tier of uncertainty - These apps remain stuck between a scam and realised gains, I cannot grade them yet.
