1BTC Project - The CoinPayU Faucet Has Closed

In April of 2023 I discovered a site called CoinPayU. Effectively it was Publish0x with a few other features. You could blog about what you were thinking, then watch some ads, and roll a daily faucet. In my review It is like a crypto chimera stealing the best features of other services but doing them less well. You can read my full review here. You will see that I was not a fan of CoinPayU.

Well this service just got worse. It won't be a Merry Christmas for people who sunk too much time into CoinPayU.

They have shut down their faucet. Apparently they were losing $500 per day running it. Hopefully this is just an indication of financial mismanagement form CoinPayU and not a reflection on Faucets in general. It would be a shame if more crypto faucets began to dry up.

I am happy I chose to ignore this site. It very much rubbed me the wrong way. Sometimes it pays to trust your guy.

This is a situation that I will continue to keep an eye on. I hope this is a weak player falling off and not a risk to the Faucet market. What do you think?
