Shake Pay is an easy way to buy cryptocurrecies in Canada. And that's basically it. It does not do a lot but what it does do it does well. This is going to be a short post because there is not a lot to report on. I feel obligated to write something because I did received $5 CAD lost month through their referral program.
Pros.
~Its sleek and easy to use. That's the biggest advantage it has. It takes less than 15 minutes to set up an account. It seems like it would be a great intro to crypto for a boomer or non-tech individual. They operate on e-transfers so be careful with how you enter in the etransfer information. Getting something wrong can lead to money getting lost.
~Trades are easy to execute and seem to be at a fair price.
~Its easy to get money out. One of the doubt many people have about the crypto industry is that it is difficult to take cash out of the market. This could be a good portal to extract Canadian dollars out of the market.
~The referral program is easy and works quickly.
Cons.
Shake Pay does not offer a wide selection of crypto currencies. You can buy either Bitcoin or Ethereum. As I said it is a great platform for beginners. If you are looking for alt coins or staking this will not be a good platform for you.
I give Shake Pay three out of five star. It would be a great platform to get your mum into Bitcoin.
