1BTC Project - Kucoin Earn & Superform

Last month I wrote about my disappointment with KuCoin and the loss of SharkFin. My plan had been to use KuCoin Earn working constantly in the background to slowly accumulate sats, and I thought that opportunity had been ripped away from me. I gave them a month to figure it out, or I'd move on.

The month passed, and it looks like they figured something out.

The new KuCoin Earn reminds me a lot of what Binance used to do: stake a main coin and receive the staking reward in a secondary coin. In my case, I'm staking Bitcoin and receiving Superform (UP) in return. So far, it's working brilliantly. I like this setup because it dovetails nicely with my Solana side quest. I'm still trying to accumulate a whole Bitcoin, but making a yield farming pit stop along the way feels reasonable, and converting UP to SOL feels a lot less sacrilegious than selling sats outright.

This bodes well for getting my KuCoin earn profits back to where I want them to do.

I need to figure out when the UP gets dropped into the account, but now having BNB and UP to roll back into SOL I will be getting to 1 SOL much quicker than before. I am now up to 0.464 SOL on Kucoin and and 0.4975 SOL on Coinbase. Weeks away from a whole SOL in aggregate, but quickly moving towards the goal.

Especially if good things keep happening.

You see, the moment I decided to check in on things and see if any UP had accumulated in my account happened to coincide almost exactly with Superform jumping 106% after Upbit launched spot trading for UP. Better Lucky than good i guess.

Hopefully my UP drops continue to be lucrative. The stats won't reflect this jump. The kucoin earn tracker keeps the tally in the price of the coin you earned in. So now that UP has reset (after my trade) the amount I have earned this money has been reduced as well.
