Paxful was my first exchange, Current Rewards was my first crypto earning app. 

Right off the bat I will say like a first love, I have great fondness for the Current Rewards App but looking back there are flaws. 

This app worked - and probably still does - but I stopped using it because they took down their bitcoin rewards from their menu. I give this app credit because although they make promises that you can earn money from their app they are not outlandish. I've seen promises of $180 or even $600. 

Like all the other earning apps its an advertising platform. You can play games or take surveys through the app to earn in app points. Then you exchange the points for your rewards. The interesting thing about this app is that it was also a Spotify clone. The app give you the ability to listen to the radio or your favorite band, or genre of music as a way to earn points. 

I found an old set of head phones and cut the head phone jack off. So if I was in a wifi zone I could "listen" to music for an hour or two and earn points without really doing much. This app would also give out points for when you charge your phone. It made it quite easy to pick up 300 or so points per day without relying on games or special offers.

The app was rudimentary so I downloaded an autoclicker that allowed me to appear like I was playing for extended periods of time. This worked for quite some time and I was able to mine points quite quickly.

That being said, this app nearly exploded my phone. The app put an overlay over the the screen and installed a new lock screen. It also made it that the screen stayed on while the phone charges to show how many points were being earned. 

I actually got a pretty good amount of BTC reward (in analog currency value). When I was using this app the BTC price was high so the rewards I was getting did not equate to a large amount of cryptocurrency. 

I stopped using this app because they delisted Bitcoin as a reward. You can still use the app to earn PayPal rewards. I did this once and used the PayPal dollars to buy BTC on Paxful but this extra step made the process less appealing. At first I was upset that they delisted BTC but now I am thankful. Due to the policy change I was forced to look elsewhere for my crypto rewards. 

I give the Current Reward app 1 out of 5 stars. The user interface is overwhelming, they delisted BTC, and this almost killed my phone. There are many better apps out there to earn with but Current was my introduction to Bitcoin rewards so I am thankful. 

Even if it still offered a bitcoin reward I would not recommend this app.
