It has been over a month since I wrote a blog post about how scammy the Sweat economy platform has become, and by over a month I mean just barely. In October of 2023 $SWEAT started its rapid decline into an add machine. The disappointing profit driven changes have kept coming early and often ever since. May I remind you this is a step counter app. The slogan is "Walk Into Crypto." It is now easier to gain $SWEAT tokens through everything but counting steps and the price isn't increasing.
I cannot emphasize it enough $SWEAT was a step counter. It was trying to build a fitness community. Now it is another add watching app. This will be my last post about $SWEAT. I am also removing it from my monthly tracker. This newest update is just a bridge too far.
Obviously, premium accounts are nothing new. And what's the point of premium accounts if they don't have premium features. 24% APY would be fun, but it won't cover the premium price tag. It's also not worth getting too upset about.
The League Jar has a healthy 14% APY for a 10 month lockup. The minimum but is 500 $SWEAT. I imagine this will be used by no one.
This has been building for a while. A year ago they put in "gas fees". Then months ago they added videos to reduce the "gas fee". Then one video became two videos. This isn't new. But the gold folks at $SWEAT economy have attempted the unprecedented triple ad!
You can elect to watch 3 ads in a row from some garbage Crypto casino to get all the $SWEAT that is owed to you. The cherry on top is that there is still no way to get any Crypto off the platform.
My next blog post about the $SWEAT Economy will be about cashing out. If that day never comes, then I will never write about this garbage project ever again.
