Is Binance "The Next Big Thing"?

Virtually forgotten as "last cycle's chain," $BNB is oddly positioned for growth.

Today's analysis comes with an extra heavy dose of "do your own research" (DYOR) and a reminder that this is not financial advice (NFA).

The macroeconomic backdrop for all things investing related is strong, but that could change quickly with Trump's announcements around tariffs scheduled for TODAY.

But assuming that our broader macroeconomy and liquidity conditions hold ...

1 AI Agents on $BNB

I noted this a few days ago, but look at the top 5 coins on cookie.fun. This site uses AI to assess the relative "mind share" about various projects on Twitter.

Two AI agents have entered the top 5 of mind share. Notably, just one AI Agent project in the top 5 is on $SOL. The other 2 are on Base.

This suggests that $BNB is poised for a return *if* the AI Agent narrative resumes.

2 $BNB's Performance

Just in the past two days, $BNB has flipped $SOL, in part given the strength of the former's AI projects.

If $BNB were to rise sufficiently to flip $XRP, that would imply ~40% gain from current levels.

It would require roughly the same gain to flip Tether and claim the #3 spot by market cap.

3 Pancake Swap ($cake)

If you think that $BNB is too large for your risk appetite, then you could look at $cake, the top decentralized exchange on $BNB. It's surged 109% over the last week.

Unlike Aerodome ($AERO) on Base, $cake's circulating supply is basically equal to its FDV (total supply). This means you won't face coin dilution pressure.

4 What's The Deal With $ANDY?

The $ANDY coin in BSC isn't the original coin. But the team is working with another firm to "AI power" their $ANDY project.

I'm not sure what that's going to look like, honestly. Is it just a meme coin with a Twitter bot?

The real question is: how will the coin be related to the AI agent? Unless there is some tie by way of tokenomics, it's just a publicity stunt.

5 Concluding Thoughts

$BNB was last cycle's "casino." It's not really surprising to see it move back into that space. The blockchain has planned upgrades to become more like $SOL-- faster, cheaper, etc.

And the AI agents on the chain currently are commanding "mind share."

The best "infrastructure" plays are likely $BNB and $cake, if this trend continues. $virtual is not moving onto $BNB anytime soon ... though $Cookie is on the chain.

In any case, this might be a shift in narrative and it's worth watching.

Happy Trading!!
