Upon launch, Celestia (TIA) soared to a $20B FDV with a low float and high hopes. The technology was genuinely transformative; it’s the kind of thing that makes VCs use words like “modular” and “revolutionary” while quietly calculating their unlock dates.
Then, inevitably, those same unlocks demolished the coin price. It’s now down roughly 93%. Degens got vaporized and most now speak the name Celestia only as a curse. 
Which, of course, is exactly when I start to get interested.
Currently, TIA sits at a $1.22B market cap and a $1.74B FDV, which is comfortably below the 1:2 ratio I like to see. The tech still holds up, but now it’s old enough to have learned some humility.
If it rises again, it’ll be more of a “dino coin” comeback story than a new-age hype train. And I’ll admit it: I have a soft spot for coins everyone hates. Remember when everyone wrote off ETH? Then it went supernova. TIA might pull a similar trick. Or it might go to zero. This is crypto, so that’s always on the table.
Small Negative Catalyst: More token unlocks through November (about 0.9% of supply).
Positive Catalyst: The Macha upgrade, cutting dilution from 5% to 2.5%.
Modular Growth: TIA is a Layer 0 (data availability) coin that helps other chains scale. Bullet, an L2 on Solana, will be using it.
TL;DR: TIA has saner tokenomics (finally), bearish sentiment that might be a contrarian signal, and real catalysts ahead. As always, none of this is advice; just some philosophical musings on market cycles.
