If you were around last cycle, then you know that Binance ($BNB) was the meme coin casino back then, not $SOL.
They somehow managed to fumble that this season with the meme coin mania. Even $ETH became more recognized for meme coins.
But that appears to be changing. They recently jumped on the AI agent meme coin craze and the results are in ... and they're succeeding?
Below is an image of all the AI agent coins and their respective mind-share (as listed on cookie.fun)
I've got the settings on ALL, so that we're rating all coins in all categories across all chains.
I am surprised to see 2 Base coins ($BNKR and $Henlo) at the top.
But more surprising is that Binance coins follow: $ANDY and $CHEEM.
After that, you get $SOL coins starting with $SNAI.
Wrap Up Thoughts
I don't want to say that Binance has "made it back," but this is an interesting development. AI agents are still hot, and as the market looks to recover, I think this narrative will hold up.
Nothing comes back in exactly the same way, however. Sure, $virtual and $Luna are going to make some money (if the bull starts charging again), but Binance-related AI agents may be a new source of focus.
Happy trading!!
