There are some coins that the Ledger Nano supports natively. I guess they call them Ledger Live supported. These coins are really easy to set up in the Ledger but I want to talk about the coins which are not natively supported. Let's take the example of this coin BANANO.
I have a few Banano that I accumulated through the Fold@Home project that I currently have in my Kalium wallet which I want to transfer over to my Ledger wallet.
When I first opened my Ledger Nano, I see that there are apps available for these already. Great! I install the apps. When I tried to install Banano, Ledger said that I needed to install the parent coin Nano's app as well and I happily obliged. So I installed both the BANANO and NANO apps in my Ledger.

But now when I go to create an account, after installing the app in Ledger, it says Banano crypto asset not found! I don't understand this. If I cannot create an account, why did Ledger have an app in the first place and why can I not create an account for it.

Ok, so then I head over to this section in the Ledger docs for Banano support. These guys list out all the steps I need to do possible make BANANO work in ledger and at the very end they say "Banano accounts cannot be added to Ledger Live"

So I don't really know and understand if adding BANANO is even possible. If it is possible, how do I add it? If it's not possible, why do I have so many options and apps available in the first place?
Can someone offer help or guidance in this regard?
