The Elder Scrolls Online, also known as ESO, was published in 2014 and is still standing today. The devs show care in preserving ESO's world by releasing an expansion with DLC packs every year. With the fighting style focused on action and a large selection of abilities and weapons, it's easy to see why this MMO is still one of the best.
ESO's world is very comparable to the single-player games. Since ESO is set 1000 years before the single-player games, it has a unique feel and story while remaining true to the settings we've all loved for years. All of your favorite guilds, as well as vampirism and other conditions, may be found here. And, despite the fact that combat has been optimized to suit MMO gameplay, you'll be wielding swords and casting spells without any problems after a short initiation.
ESO's combat system may be far from perfect, but it provides a lot of fun. Players can mix and match whichever weapon abilities and spells they like, giving them endless options for their own personal style of gameplay. However, some builds are significantly stronger than others when it comes to dealing the most damage. Similarly, some classes or races are better at healing or tanking than others.
It's PvP is also quite good. Spending time in the Imperial City, fighting off Daedric opponents as well as other players, can be a fun experience.
The PvE is also rather enjoyable. The majority of the normal dungeons are rather easy to complete, but those looking for a true challenge will find it in the Veteran mode or Trials.
At first, the storyline is alright, even if a bit cliched due to the "chosen one" scheme. If you're looking for more involvement and complexity in your single MMO experience, there are a few alternative options. The shorter stories provided through ESO's side-quests are a wonderful substitute, and I personally think they're better than the original plot. Fans and players who are familiar with the main series of Elder Scrolls games may find this playstyle to be more familiar and possibly more entertaining.
