This last season of Splinterlands, which recently ended, was more relaxed. Since I had participated in several survival events in a row, I didn't end up participating. Those of you who have already played the 250 qualifying matches for the event should know that, even though the matches aren't difficult to play, the time required to complete the entire event is not trivial.
Imagine you spend around 3 minutes counting the waiting time, which can sometimes reach 1/2 minute, the card selection time (1/2 minute because both your selection and your opponent's can take time), and then the time it takes to go to your next match (1 minute). 250 x 3 minutes = 750 minutes or around 12.5 hours.
I still think they could be more flexible with the number of matches required, especially since a lot of feedback has already been given and they've already adjusted many things. But getting back to the subject, in the penultimate season, I participated and with the event prize I got 3 Legendary draws and by sheer luck I got 2 legendary cards that I didn't have in my collection.
Two cards ended up being duplicates, which was the case with Kervik, while one of them was Nullwrought. I say it was very lucky because I was missing 6 of the 12 legendary cards and until then none had been duplicates. On one hand, it's bad that I got two Kervik cards; I could have gotten another one that I don't have, like Halo Wisp, Azhar, Skrag, or Chuma, but it's okay because Nullwrought was one of the cards I still wanted to have in my collection. Come learn more about these new legendary cards!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Kervik and Nullwrought - 2 New Legendary!
Let's start by talking a little about Kervik. This is the second Water element card among the legendaries and is a melee damage unit. Even at level 1 it's an interesting card because it already has 3 melee damage, while most cards have around 1 to 2 damage, needing to level up to reach 3. Also, unlike Sira and others that have low HP of 2 to 3 when damage is high, it has 4 HP.
An interesting detail about Kervik is his Sneak ability, which allows him to attack the enemy in the last position. Some cards of this element have Inspire that give +1 melee attack, such as River Hellondale, Relenor Cleaver, and Demented Shark, making the damage reach 4. Furthermore, the Water element has very flexible summoners like Kelya, which will increase speed and give 1 shield, improving the stats that Kervik isn't so strong in.
Nullwrought was one of the cards I most wanted to have in my collection. The reason isn't even because it's currently very strong in my deck, but to be ready for the future of Splinterlands. In my opinion, the Bloodline Tribute ability is extremely strong and will become even stronger over time because more cards from that bloodline will be added.
This ability grants +1 to several stats of all cards that share the same bloodline. Currently, it's an extremely strong ability under the rule that all units receive shapeshift, and therefore can receive the buff even if they are from different bloodlines. Also, there's Loving the Moo, which has the elemental bloodline dominion that inflicts poison on all cards that have that bloodline, and it's a bloodline with multiple cards.
