Launched in 2017, Zilliqa is a cryptocurrency project with a certain focus to develop the popular second layer solution known as “Sharding”. The data shows that cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum have certain limitations, and Zilliqa is trying to create a complex-yet-reliable sharding solution to scale the blockchain while still able to maintain its liquidity. It’s believed that Zilliqa’s transaction speed might become as fast as 1000x of Ethereum’s network.
