Update 7-27:2020: Bitcoin is soaring at over $11,000, peaking at $11,420 and now holding around $11,200 - Finally putting the days of waiting for a 10K to an end. Ethereum, ZEC, BNB, and more are all making great gains as well. What in the hell is going on?:
I believe this recovery is a clear indicator that something as petty as a Twitter attack of $121,000 was not NEARLY enough to weaken the cryptocurrency markets. Crypto isn't going anywhere :)
Update 7-26-2020: Bitcoin SPIKED even further to $10,200 USD, it appears the bulls have arrived! After dropping back down some, the market is holding at $9,935 USD.
On 7-25-2020 we saw a new swing in bear to bullish behavior with Bitcoin at $9,600 USD, peaking at $9,635 which is up from its idle price range of $9,100 - $9,500 USD from the last several weeks; this is a welcome breath of fresh air for those tired of a stagnant marketplace:
Atomic Wallet's AWC (Atomic Wallet Coin) was also up over 20% and continues to increase in popularity. I hope that they restore the airdrop soon and hire a new editor because outside of a few snags AWC is by far the most promising prospect for staking options, followed by Tezos (XTZ). I'm a bit angry because I had to cash out a good amount of investments to cover living expenses, but, there was not a way around it. I'm doing what I can to get everything back and more, of course.
Update: AWC is down to $1.61 USD, buying mine back is going to be more of a pain than I anticipated. The token is moving fast.
Ethereum 2.0 is exciting but is taking a while to get off the ground. I look forward to adding it to my list of yield-return oriented tokens.
Altcoins have been on the rise without the help of Bitcoin the last while which makes for interesting times. The fewer altcoins correlate with Bitcoin, the less predictable the entire cryptocurrency market will become. I've been collecting tokens lately because it's difficult to determine which altcoins will eventually take off - I follow the social demand along with functionality.
I had abandoned Stellar Lumens (XLM), and I still lean in favor of Nano - but Nano isn't supported by Coinbase and I hate Binance's US exchange. I love their DEX, though. Anyway, the moral of the story is that ChangeNOW has again made it useful to send assets using an altcoin due to extremely low transaction fees and instant transaction times while maintaining the best exchange rate in real-time. As a result, I keep some XLM on hand as I do with Bitcoin; essentially putting me in a holding position with no ties, so if it skyrockets - excellent. If not, oh well.
I'm angry I have to keep a certain amount of assets in AWC the way they laid out; because if I'd been able to exchange it entirely to AWC that 20%+ recent gain, along with improved staking rewards would have shown great gains. In hindsight, I should have exchanged it, and then moved some back right before the final approval window on August 1st-2nd; but there was no way to know when AWC would spike. The lack of clarity didn't help anything.
This is also an environmentally friendly way to move crypto around. Even if you intend to HODL Bitcoin, there is not actually any reason you need to use it for your other transactions which tend to be more primary. I recommend using Nano if your exchange supports it as it is the only better alternative than XLM at this moment in time.
As a result of chasing a variety of tokens at one time, I've been on a rash of exploring earning sites lately, mostly out of boredom. I've discovered a handful which are legitimate and I'm going to continue grinding up the ladder on each until I have a comprehensive take on how to best earn for each platform, at which time I'll write guides for each one; or perhaps a large guide containing all of them.
My main interest is keeping my semi-passive income alive and expanding; sometimes this means staking, sometimes it means grinding surveys for investment money. I'll also be working on new skills to expand my reach - I'm looking into Da Vinci for video editing software (obtained a legit copy already), among others.
I made my first YouTube video today (no audio) to show users how I set up my Coinpot rollers just using Windows 10 - READ THE ARTICLE FIRST!
I plan on doing webcam/audio videos with animations and product reviews in the future. Da Vinci is said to be used in actual movies.
Mellowads & ADBTC are definitely worth exploring for serious earners. HoneyGain is great as well, but it pays in PayPal.
Cointiply remains #1. I don't see that changing, but I am always open to earning more.
I can't help but think about it while writing because I make more on Cointiply (+background earners) in one day than my best articles have made altogether.
That's the truth, this post can go front page for days on end and it will not make as much as some time put in on Cointiply; though geography plays a role in that. In fact, this page has been a front-post for two days and I could probably scrape $2.30 together in under 60 minutes on Cointiply. Easy.
I highly promote earning when you have no other income, especially for entry-level investors during market rises as you earn relative to USD value on Cointiply, and USD is inflated.
Stay smart & Stay safe.
