I went to cut my hair today (I really needed it) and while I was there, I saw a television report talking about athletes, in fact, they in their early stages looking for a team, a sponsorship and trying to climb in life with it. In this case, the sport was football and the report was showing the boys trying to win their place and a player who was already a professional. This is the summary, but what I saw that really caught the eye was what the professional athlete said: “In the mind of an athlete, the word gives up does not exist” and that is well, what we should do in life is not it?
How many times do we say that we will give up, but do not realize that if you want something, give up you can not be part of your vocabulary, even if you are not an athlete, if you are only an ordinary guy, just me and everyone, do not belittle who you are, from where you came or your struggles and achievements during the path of your life, there is so much to do it and so we can not keep in the way.
It seems that this act of wanting to give up if it looks like a battery, which gradually is over. When it reaches 0% it means that you have given up and, if it is 100%, means that not even a meteor to you. I think that's why, over time, things look more difficult, more boring and so we want to stop with time. So something magical happens: we see a report, a movie, a series, an example, or we talk to someone who cheers us up, something that gives us the energy necessary to climb the battery again and put it in 100 %. Today was like this with me.
As complicated as things are, take the word give up the head. If you need to stop doing something you like or want to achieve, perhaps only a break is enough. Remember the battery of mood for this, you can pause and seek to be inspired by other stories similar to yours, people who were running after something you are too. If they did, you can do it too. I confess that I was discouraged with some things, but now, a simple report on television has shown me that we should take the word give up our minds.
And that helped me gain animo to continue!
