ok so a whole coinbase memecoin just lived and died in less than 24 hours and i am still recovering.
brian armstrong swapped his pfp to some coinbase man avatar and instantly $brian on base ripped from 300k to 18 million market cap.
a whole coin. built on a profile picture. no utility, no roadmap, just vibes and a bald ceo.
devs had already sent like 80% of supply straight to his wallet too, which is either genius or unhinged, pick one.
then he swapped his pfp back.
no announcement, no goodbye, just gone.
and the whole thing cratered 90% within hours.
people who bridged in during the hype were left holding a coin worth basically nothing while the timeline screamed about being "abandoned" by base itself.
one guy literally said he'd rather get lynched than touch base again 💀
this is the funniest part of crypto to me.
grown men building entire trading theses off a jpeg change.
no fundamentals, no thesis, just "he changed his icon so buy now."
i love this stupid industry so much.
i did not buy $brian, i am once again choosing to watch the chaos from a safe distance and laugh 🚀

that's my kinda guy right there! stoic, solid, hard as a rock 💪🏼
see yall tomorrow for more degen doodoggery
