Through Void’s vast silence, the wanderers came,
A man at the fore with a spark and a flame.
No ground to claim, no stars aligned,
Only the abyss, unbound and unkind.
"We must," spoke the man, "from chaos contrive
A law to bind and a light to revive.
No crown, no sword, but principles drawn—
A truth enduring when we are gone."
From artful and common words, they laid their cosmic stone,
A foundation carved from the vast unknown;
Defined by the Divine, who sits evermore on His throne.
Etched upon each man’s heart, His laws form
The ethereal ground from which all are born;
Binding them by His word till time’s end,
Enjoining man to see his neighbor as himself; his friend.
Each block was shaped by wisdom’s hand through man,
Measured by prudent reason, made to withstand.
Their bonds, a temple of mortal grace,
Where rights divine found rightful place.
The light of the cosmos, their guiding star,
Revealed their nature and the beneficent binds of their hearts.
But fire arose, with its fractious roar,
Dividing their houses to their trembling core.
One against many, and many against one,
Yearned for more, threatening all had done.
Ambition’s blaze, though fierce and wild,
Brought heat to temper, and strength reconciled.
The flame’s scales balanced each desire
To achieve what Agape, from Eros’ honor, must put to the pyre.
They fought as warriors in balance and stride,
Virtue their weapon, with prudence their guide.
In a dance of conflict, they found their art,
Aligning the many to move as one heart.
The shadow emerged, both enemy and kin,
The foe without, and the fear within.
Yet their light burned brighter, their purpose clear,
To forge a world unbowed by fear.
With fire restrained and their labors done,
They turned to the cosmos, their battles won.
The man and his kin raised their voices high:
"Our temple stands, and our light will not die.
From chaos, we rose; and by fire, we’re free—
A people united by destiny’s decree.
For our truth is the law; our freedom, the sky.
Immortal, our souls—through liberty—shall happily fly.”
