Although I am still in low cups to increase my collection of cards for the “Modern” section and I have in mind some Rebellion cards that I would like to have to think about moving up from league to silver, I know that it is important to have a good level of cards to compete better and better.
In this post I will show you the monsters that I have leveled up, thinking about taking advantage of certain aspects of each level up.
Obviously before leveling up any of your cards, first of all, you must first make a selection of Summoners to level up, as it is essential to have high level units.
With this in mind, I decided just during the previous year where the soul-anchored summoners were relatively easy to get, to raise them to at least level 2 and they are the ones I show you in the picture.
Here is the main reason for this, since at level 1 every summoner only accepts level 1 cards whatever the rarity is, however, those who go up to level 2 would already accept a higher level in the Common, Rare and Epic rarities of 3, 2 and 2 respectively.
Based on these summoners is that I managed to level up some units, which first only increased a little their skills and characteristics such as Speed, Attack or Health. Then I focused on another type of increase that I show you now...
Not only can you get cards to increase their characteristics, there are also some that get an ability when leveling up, so I focused on the cards that would benefit me the most in that sense.
I noticed that neutral cards like “Chaos Agent” or the one I show you leveling up “Xenith Monk” were perhaps the best options, since their neutral condition could be combined with different strategies both high and low mana.
The best option among all is undoubtedly “Xenith Monk” that only with 4 cards to combine them at level 2, we get “Heal” which allows you to recover some life in each turn, this in the league that I manage which is bronze is quite beneficial since the levels of cards that are usually obtained are quite low and that advantage could be decisive in the end.
“Chaos Agent” would get ‘Dodge’ which, although for a unit with so little life might not seem relevant, but remembering the low cost in mana it is worth, it can make the difference between deflecting 1 or 2 attacks with only 1 Mana.
Final Comments
I wouldn't say that it wouldn't be beneficial to level up those units that increase their Speed, Health or Attack, I just think it's quite necessary to identify those cards that receive a new ability that can create a higher value in battles.
Also, it depends on each individual collection and how much each person can afford to get in cards, because if there are some that you don't use or that you find “useless” you can always sell them to get some that you consider better for your collection.
Although I would say that no card is useless, each one has its main function and perhaps what you are really missing is to identify what is the function of it in the battle that you place it.
