While the hype around Openclaw and what it can do has died down somewhat, many people I work with still use either Openclaw itself or Openclaw clones to speed up their work or handle other daily tasks. OpenClaw itself has even listed Brave Search API as its search tool of choice for enabling real-time online access to AI agents, not to mention that Brave Search was the first provider that was integrated into OpenClaw! News like this is huge for the Brave ecosystem as it not only shows a demand, but it also provides a revenue source for further development in the Brave Browser ecosystem!

It turns out that Brave Search is now the third-largest global independent search engine (I remember the days before they even had Brave Search!), featuring an index of over 40 billion webpages and handling over 2 billion monthly queries across the API and end-user search. The improvements to Brave Search are mind-blowing compared to what it used to be. It is great to watch a private-focused search engine mature over time, which as a result turns it into something that more and more people want to use!
