Lately, I've been exploring the modern format as I did in the past, and as expected, I don't know many of the cards I come across since I haven't accumulated enough this year.
In this post, I'll talk about a card I came across which, even after reading about its usefulness, I think something happened that shouldn't have happened, and if it really happened as it commonly does, it's too powerful.

The card in question is “Captain Frankie,” a life summoner who, judging by his stats and abilities, is quite powerful, but not invincible, since what he should do is give all monsters with melee attacks +1 damage.
In addition, two of the monsters in the lineup would gain “Piercing” and “True Strike,” which would cause the total damage to go directly to the shield, and if it exceeds the shield, it also damages life, plus they cannot miss any shots.

Reading that, I know it will be difficult, but as the battle begins, I notice that only two of them receive “Piercing” and “True Strike,” but not the increase in melee damage, as they receive not +1 but +5.
This naturally made the battle completely disproportionate, and my defeat was almost immediate.

Looking closely at the battle replay, I see that each card says it received “inspired x5,” but the summoner's stats don't indicate that they can gain that multiplied ability.
I also don't know if it's a bug, since the units on the arena don't have any ability that would make this work that way. If this is really how that summoner always works, it should be clearly explained in its description.
Or if it's something different, maybe someone can help me understand it better. Anyway, here's the complete battle:
Final Comments:
I don't really know anything about this card, but what really intrigues me is whether everything happened as it was supposed to and I just didn't read something that explained it, or if it was a game error that hurt me. If it was the former, I think it's a pretty uncontrollable card.
Also, if I got this, would it be the strongest summoner in the Conclave edition, or are there even more powerful ones? When I return to Silver, as I intend to do, will I encounter worse things? I don't know, but I would like answers to the first question.
