Leaving the headquarters and exploring near by outposts can be dangerous. Though as my faction has increased so has squads that can back me up. This is new to me compared to playing Stalker in the past. Usually single player just has you playing solo throughout and maybe just a couple missions with actual help from the NPC.
Playing Warfare mode I can about six Monolith follow me and we can do alot of damage. Also at the same time Im surprised how quick my squad can be wiped out with little effect on the opposing squad. I come across downed soldiers, and check the inventory. And eventually I come across the entrance to the great swamps.
It starts off pretty empty with just me and my squad. We make our way to one of the bases, and off in the distance there are some enemies fighting with monsters out in the swamps.
