Keeping a balance of materials is key in this game. Carbon and Oxygen are the most important of the bunch. The Carbon fuels the harvester gun and Oxygen fuels the life support on the suit. Finding the first is easy on the surface, most plants are made of carbon .Getting the ladder is best in caves, which is new to me. The old NMS did not have these Oxygen creatures living in caves.

Once I get enough I can put the materials in a machine that changes them into new elements. I am amazed how long some items take to process. Its best to start them and go eat a meal and come back. Hah I dont want to sit through all of that.

I wonder what else is out there to do, once I get my ship going. I have no idea if I can go to other galaxy's right away or I am stuck in this system for awhile.

Using the DLC Next the building of structures seems to have come a long way as well. Using them is a good way to stay safe on a planet.
