I decide to go out at night, and avoid the solar radiation. But there are other dangers I found in the evening. One of them being the cold, it was -60c and really putting my life support systems to work. I see animals roaming around and I check out plants to see if there were any unidentified species. I collect elements as I come across them and then flee back to my ship before the cold consumes me.
I wait for the sun to rise and go about looking for more items and elements to take and harvest. Though as the sun comes up so does the solar radiation that starts hitting the planet. I found some new rocks while I was out and harvested the ferrite from them. Also found some crystals and other elements that will be useful to trade or to build new components. With the sunrise it seems the elements were not too harsh and I was able to run around for awhile looking for more stuff. Though eventually I will fill my inventory and need to go back to my base to unload the items into refiners and to sell what I want. Glad to have a bigger ship how to store more items. I dont have to do as much back and forth that way. Eventually ill get an even bigger ship and maybe find some more exosuit upgrades for more storage as well.
