My current objective is to recon the covenant combat capabilities. I take out an elite by killing silently from behind. Searching a cave it just ends up being a second way of approaching the cliff that I just knocked the elite off from. There were grunts sleeping around as well and I took them out with the butt of my gun. Using the sniper rifle I scope some enemies off in the distance but could not get a clear shot. I moved a few yards over to a clearing and had a perfect head shot on an elite. A jetpack elite flew over and I also had a head shot set up for that enemy as well. The AI off in the distance seemed to not notice me and were aiming in the wrong direction. I took out another elite or something big like that. Switching to my assault rifle I get into the complex and take out grunts and elites. I succumb to enemy fire and have to restart.
Sticking to the buildings this time I had the change to use the walls as cover. Though eventually I had to come out from cover to fight a squad of enemies. There were elites, jackals and grunts. Along with a stationary gun. It was a battle for sure, and I got taken out again.
I had to play through this three or four times before I could beat it. Makes me worried playing on legendary or some other is going to be way to hard right now.
